Otaku at Work

I've finished downloaded a few animes recently...
One of them is Kaichou wa Maid-sama
I saw this anime at a CD shop awhile ago and it looked good so i thought "why not?"...

This was on the cover of the DVD

Honestly it looked a little like Special A class....
and the story line is about the same...where the main female character is always second to the
male character...and they are constantly fighting...

The anime summary:
In a high school recently turned from all-boy to coed, Misaki Ayuzawa, chairwoman of student council, battles "stinky and dirty" male students every day to protect the few (20%) females in school. Off campus, she works hard at a maid cafe to supplement the income of her household (as well as leftover foods) after her father had deserted the family -- whose action contributed to her hatred toward males. However, Takumi Usui, a handsome guy (and a heartbreaker of many girls) accidentally found out her double identities. She thought the entire school would know by the next morning, yet he kept her secret away from others, making her even more suspicious of his motives.

I've only watched the 1st episode so couldn't comment much...but so far it is good *smiles*
Your typical romance, comedy.
If anyone who's free and has nothing else to do at home...why not give it a watch.

A little chibi

AND......

I've finished watching K-ON season 1...finished downloading season 2 but thought of watching the above anime instead....*hehe*

K-ON is about music...also not too bad...lots of comedy and 'moe moe' moments....
It really is cute to watch and by watching it just makes you feel like wanna pick up a music instrument and play it!

The story revolves around Yui Hirazawa who has nothing much to do in life except bumming around....
upon entering high school she is determined to join a club and make good use of her life...coincidently she stumbles upon a 2 person club called the Light Music Club...if this club doesn't get at least 4 members, they have to be disbanded....the 2 members [ Ritsu(plays drums) and Mio(plays bass) ] sort of begged Yui to join the club along with a pianist (Tsumugi). Tsumugi's family is rather rich with lots of villas and store chains but she is very polite and kind (although has weird habit and personality)...the only problem is....Yui doesn't know how to play any musical instrument! She then got interested in an electrical guitar and thus became the groups lead guitarist....

It's a cool show about being in a band and chasing dreams.

If you notice, Mio the bassist is a left-hander *cool*

Cheers to all animation studios!!
What would my life be without you guys!!
